Leading A Life Group

If you want to take the next step in leadership, why don’t you consider leading a Life Group? As a Life Group Leader, you get to be a part of seeing lives transformed. Leading a Life Group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect.

Hosting a group is simple. We provide you with tools to help make your Life Group successful: leadership training, coaching, and discussion materials based on the sermon notes. We’ll add your group to our Life Group director so others can find it easily. All you have to do is choose a time and location, invite some friends, and you’re set to go!

Join Gateway Community Outreach

A great way to build community within your life group is to do a service opportunity together! We encourage each of our life groups to get involved in outreach at least once a year. Through Gateway Community Outreach, your life group can serve the homeless, collect items for a donation drive, or participate in one of our community events.

Fill out the GCO Volunteer Interest Form and we’ll get your group activated.

Common Questions

What Is A Gateway Life Group?

A Life Group is a gathering of people who are growing together in their relationship with God. In a Life Group, there will be time for connection, teaching, personal sharing, and prayer. Life Groups meet every day of the week in homes, in coffeeshops, at workplaces, or onsite at Gateway.

What Do We Study In the Bible?

Many of our Life Groups use the Life Group Discussion Guides based on the Sunday series. These groups give you the opportunity to review the Sunday sermon topics in more depth and to make the teaching personal.

Other Life Groups choose a specific topic or book of the Bible based on the interests and needs of the group.
